Public- Private Partnership for Immunization in Africa
Collected by AFRIVAC to supply the AFRIVAC fund for the purchase of vaccines, it is handed over after the signing of a memorandum of understanding defining the annual amount and duration of commitment. The annual contribution is aimed at any organization or commercial enterprise operating on the national territory, concerned about the health of children and wishing to support vaccination. Immunization according to WHO is one of the most cost-effective public health interventions to control a large number of infectious diseases and increasingly against several chronic diseases caused by infectious agents.
